I visited Lalique square a couple days ago and I really like the build. It's not an island or anything just a sort of shopping center. It's nicely laid out and organized. My in game inventory has over 3500 items in it and it's "teh devil" to keep it organized. I did go to a "item organization" class in world and that really did help. I learned how to use the features of the file inventory menu to make finding things easier. For example searching for WORN fshows all the worn items., really handy. It's pretty much accepted in SL that a goog skin is the biggest contributor to an Avatar's appearance. It's also accepted that good skins cost money, lots of it.
